The Academy of Traditional Karate is a premiere institution which teaches the classical Okinawan Style of Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu karate. The Academy employs Internationally Certified Instructors and is an accredited member of Shidokan International. |

The Managing Director of the Academy is Shihan Todd Keane, a Rokudan (6th degree black belt) in Shorin-Ryu. Shihan Keane has studied martial arts for more than 30 years. Prior to starting the Academy, Shihan Keane taught karate at Bentley College, where he received a BS in Computer Information Systems and an MBA with a Finance Concentration. The Assistant Managing Director is Shidoshi Kristen Keane, a Godan (5th degree black belt) in Shorin-Ryu. Kristen has studied martial arts for 20 years, and is a graduate of Merrimack College, and mother of 2 Karate students! The Academy is conveniently located off Route 93 in Wilmington Massachusetts. |
