The Academy of Traditional Karate is a premiere institution which teaches the classical Okinawan Style of Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu karate. The Academy employs Internationally Certified Instructors and is an accredited member of Shidokan International. See what our students have to say about studying karate at the Academy.

The Academy is run by Shihan Todd Keane, a Rokudan (6th degree black belt) in Shorin-Ryu. Shihan Keane has studied martial arts for more than 20 years. Prior to starting the Academy, Shihan Keane taught karate at Bentley College, where he received a BS in Computer Information Systems and an MBA with a Finance Concentration.

The Academy is conveniently located off Route 93 in Wilmington Massachusetts.
