Summer Cookout!

Summer Cookouts are one of the social events we run thoughout the year to develop a sense of community within the dojo. We typically use a local field with lots of space for the whole family to enjoy a variety of fun activities, such as, softball, frisbee, soccer, and, of course, eating.

The food at our cookouts gets better and better every year. It's a pot-luck event and everyone makes their specialty, from things hot off the grill to desserts, you can't beat the food at the Academy of Traditional Karate cookout. More importantly, it gives students a way to get to know each other outside of the dojo (training hall) in an informal setting.
