Ippon Kumite Dai Ni
(Second One Step Sparring Drill)
The attacks are all done in a front leaning stance; on both the let and right
sides.
For the defenses, step back into a front leaning stance unless otherwise
specified.

| 1. Punch upper lip/chin |
Step back right into a front leaning stance, high block left, then pull the left
leg back to the right and front kick with the right leg to the groin.
Repeat on the opposite side. |

Step back left into a front leaning stance, high block right and turn into a
shiko dachi, roundhouse kick with the front leg to the groin- repeat
on the opposite side |
| 3. Punch solar plexus |
Outside double shuto block (Shotkan style) in a cat stance, grab and side thrust
kick to the ribs |
| 4. Punch solar plexus |
Inside double shuto block in a cat stance, front kick to the groin with the front
foot |
| 5. Punch upper lip/chin |
Squat kick to the groin (belt) |
| 6. Punch upper lip/chin |
Spinning back kick to the solar plexus |
| 7. Punch upper lip/chin |
Step in, parry block, ridge hand from a chambered position to the temple, hook
kick to the kidney with the back leg and then sweep (calf to calf) |
| 8. Punch groin (belt) |
Open hand low block, grab and knee with the back leg |
| 9. Punch groin (belt) |
Low block, instep kick to the groin |

Open hand chest block, grab, pull back into a cat stance and roundhouse kick
to the temple with the back leg |
