Sanbon Kumite (Three Step Sparring Drill)
This is a three step drill where the attacker and defender are in an open stance
(toe to toe). The defender steps back three times and blocks each strike.
The defender then delivers two counters, the first being a stunning technique
with the lead hand and the second a finishing technique with the backhand.
This drill should be practiced on both sides.
