You may test for your belt between 3-4 months. You will be awarded a stripe with the date of your promotional when you pass. You may test for your Orange stripe after one month in rank.

Each progress stripe requires 1 month (8 classes). You will be tested for your next belt after passing all four stripes AND an additional month (8 classes).

Spirit: Loud Kiai (Spirit yell) Nutrition: Explain good eating habits. (A balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables and not a lot of fast food and junk food) Able to do a proper Kiotsuke (Attention), & Rei (Bow) Self-Control: Stand in Yoi (Attention) for 2 minutes. During the month, help with Nitten Shoji (clean-up) at the dojo and home. Organization: Put shoes and jacket away neatly in dojo and at home. |
